The Continental is a five-story hotel originally constructed in 1948. The property is located at the entrance to mid-beach at the southwest corner of 41st Street and Collins Avenue on Miami Beach. Due to the historic nature of the structure, the historic elements of the building have been preserved while converting the property into a 100-room Hampton by Hilton. The adjacent surface parking lot, which was acquired with the hotel, is being developed into ground-floor retail with a structured parking garage above it.
