James Jago is a managing director of PEBB Capital. In his day-to-day role, Jago directs the firm’s acquisitions and capital markets activity.
Jago is an experienced and versatile investment professional with 13 years of diverse real estate and corporate transactional experience. He began his career at Merrill Lynch, then deployed and managed more than $375 million of senior loans at CLO manager, Pangaea Asset Management, then transitioned to real estate in the corporate strategy and joint venture groups at Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Most recently, Jago was a vice president of acquisitions at private equity fund manager Green Courte Partners in Chicago, and was part of the elite deal team responsible for disposing Green Courte’s $1.4B manufactured housing portfolio. Over the course of his career, Jago has transacted on more than $2.5 billion of investment value.
Jago holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Tulane University and is a CFA Charterholder.
